Welcome from NSW I have seen the Thunderbird experience not work out for a few mates as well ,if they haven't had a bigger bike,or Rocket Experience they are perfectly happy with the thunderbirds , I must say the guys that have Thunderbirds and have stuck with them swear by them ,
