.060 Over
yea, when my '05 R3 blew up and the tranny went out on the '06, I decided to go a different route than Triumph. ended up on a couple Hondas then a Road Glide. put an extra $3000.00 into the motor to get it equal to my old Valkyrie. (103HP, 96ftlb TQ)
. I rode it for almost 2 years then Triumph comes out with the Roadster. The Road Glide was a nice bike. it handled very well, as good or better than the Rocket, There are things that I miss from the RG, but the Power and Presence of the Roadster is intoxicating.
Point of all this is that I get the "Harley Brain wash" thing, that is one of the reasons I got rid if it. I couldn't drink the Kool-Aid. There are too many good bikes out there. Ignore the comments of your club mates. I give mine a good jab every now and then. HD has come a loooooong way in the past 5 years. I would have a Road Glide again if I ever win the lottery.
