I can not confirm either way but I doubt it. If they do advertise as such it will be a crank power stat and not a wheel measurement. There is a considerable loss from crank to wheel especially on a shaft drive bike.

Well I just spent an hour looking for the upgrades to the Rocket that I read online a few weeks back being more HP and Torque. They magically disappeared. So in essence it was just BS trying to get views. The ONLY up grade is in fact the color. I was hoping for a factory tune that had more HP and Torque. Triumph is making a mistake with keeping it the same year after year. Even the older gen Rocket got upgraded after 5 years with more HP, Torque and ABS. I'm pissed!:banghead:

Are you sure about that, I don't remember ever hearing that

I would be in heaven if they released a 200hp at the wheel R3R. Instant buy. 200 whp is where I think the platform is best on the street, more becomes troublesome, less isn't as thrilling. 200 wheel is the sweet spot where you can absolutely launch off a hairpin, not spin up the back, and just fing goooooooo.

Speaking strictly stock:
According to this the R3R stock it's 140mph limited by gearing.
2300 RIII was gearing limited to 147mph.
Both came with V rated tires.

Just my two cents but....
Before you see any word of a real 200hp R3R/GT, you'll see a 240/50R16 with W rating hit the market. They seem married to the 16" rear wheel for some reason, and there's not a tire on the market that meets legal department concerns for a 200hp R3. They may also not be able to get in under EURO 5 limits at that level (noise being the big restriction).

No, you got me. YES I read it. One of the websites stated that a new tune was going in the 2024 Rocket for better performance. I assumed more HP and Torque. There were and still are a few sites that have the 2024 looking completely different also. I was hoping but that's what I get for not checking further into it. I looked for the answer I wanted and stopped looking after I did.
One website is 'Motorcycle Overview' has that info and a goofy pic of the 2024 Rocket.
