my 2010 R3R same thing,must let out clutch a tad while" N" to"1st",also had gear position sensor go bad, said was in "5th"-when in"4th","6th"?? when in" 5th" finding" N" bout imposable. All so make shure of clutch adjustment,if to slack make problem worse. Anyone know how to pick up a downed rocket?

Do it straight away so the adrenalin's still in your system! Worked for me the only time I've had to. Seriously though, there's a technique that was posted here that involved backing up to the bike and using only your legs (and hands of course). Will try to find it.
