Is the TORS loud enough?

So, the TORS is not much loader than stock and has a nice rumble?

Yes the Tors on a touring eliminate the Cats and have a bigger outlet, they maintain the stock look and give off(IMHO) a nice deep growl when cruising and a crisp note under acceleration with a remap of the ECU it's all I need, the CES pipes do sound nice but I prefer my TORS no hassles with Mr Plod and RMS "random" noise checks

I was going to use the stock headers to use a 3 to 1 can. thanks for the info

That's what I had on last year.
Pix was taken after I returned from RAA and I had wiped off the can in a tight righty.

I currently have TORs on. I also have the Ramair filter and a custom tune.
I changed the RPM limit to 6700 last autumn, and was going pretty fast for a few weeks. Especially on the Autobahn, trying out the highspeed behaviour of the Roadster with bags & windshield at full throttle.
After doing that, I have to say the sound of my TORs has improved a lot. While they were almost the same volume as stock pipes in the beginning, they really sound surprisingly good now. They have become much louder, and have a very crisp and aggressive note, especially when the engine is hot.

I have tors and de cat pipe...loud enough for me too loud for mot..
