The relay is under the right side cover. With the cover off and facing the bike, the flasher relay is the second from the left. If you go with LED lights, the mechanical relay installed on the Roc will flash too fast. I tried 2 different electronic flasher relays but didn't have any luck. Others have made it work but I never could. My solution was to get the Kury Load Equalizer (~$16) and clip them into the rear signal light leads that are also under the right side cover. I zip-tied the load equalizer to the frame there and everything works the way I expect.

There are a couple of good discussions on the board about this. Use the search function above and you'll get lots of info.

You could also PM Sam, (Traveltime)Oops..(TravelGuy, thanks Owl) he has worked successfully with this. His looks very clean on the back of the bike. (Even if it is the very slow, BLEW color)

Glad I got that cleared up before Sam saw it!!

Traveltime?

Is this his super hero identity, or what?

Does he wear his undercacks on the outside now?

flasher mod

you can also take the flasher unit off, take off the top cover, put it back on bike, flash yer indicators and with a few resistors from rs can alter the rc time constant. works great with my led indicators and it cost nothing... I hate spendin money

I've just fitted some of these on the back of my rocket:

http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/aca ... s-led.html

I had to fit some resistors as folk are saying above and used these:

http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/aca ... stors.html

They needed to be wired like this:

Code:
Indicator +ive ------------------- Existing wiring +ive
                      |
                   +-----+
R
E
S
I
S
T
O
R
                   +-----+
                      |
Indicator -ive ------------------- Existing wiring -ive

I'll try and post some pics later as I think they look pretty neat!! :)

Garan.
