I have ordered this device in order to cancel the indicators (I sometimes forget) it's an age thing you know, brain gone. However it replaces the original flasher unit but will someone please tell me where it's located on the bike ? here's the link

ROCKET 3 SELF CANCELLING FLASHER UNIT Signal Minder SM-1

Rocket Daryl, I guess it's only fitted on the R3T, mines a classic only 6 months old It's not on that.

It's under the right side cover. Pull the cover and you will see two relays looking at you. The flasher relay is the one on the right. Turn your key on and turn signal on with out bike running. You'll hear the turn signal flasher relay clicking.

Thanks all, I've checked out the flasher unit & wiring harness, found the blue switched live wire feeding the brake light as in the install thread, all I need now is the unit to be delivered. :D

Captain Jack,

I also have a classic

Its behind the side cover that is adjacent to your right leg when you are on the bike.

Its the forward most one of the two relays (the other one is the starter relay)

Hope this helps

Tony

Flasher relay arrived today, fitted ok no problems & working ok, not done the switch self centring bit though, to messy. Also fitted my GIpro ATRE which arrived at the same time, what fun & a nifty gear indicator too. Thanks for your help all that answered.
