How many have had problems with theirs either not starting or quitting?
Should be a safety recall I think. What if the bike quits on you when entering traffic or passing?
Mine is doing it now and others I've heard.

My starter button has been a little dozey, can press it a couple of times and nothing happens, not a click or anything (lights on, insrtument lights on, yes clutch is in), press a 3rd time and starts instantly as though nothing out of the ordinary has happened. Wire/connection problem or related to my gear selector problem?
Bike is in at dealer for gear selector/drive shaft/drive unit work, don't think they've even considered my start problem yet.

problems just seem to keep mounting.

Bad news is they might not be able to diagnose the problem with the starter until the gear selector is dealt with. Good news is Triumph WILL fix it. (If your dealer is good). Thankfully it doesn't seem to be a stubborn or common problem.
