Next up is the ignition switch relocation. I already have the kit. Have any of you placed it in the plastic insert on the RIGHT side of the bike? I like to roll to a stop, pull in clutch, and turn the ignition off while still in first gear. I can't do that if I place it on the left, unless I use my right had to clutch which I ain't gonna do. This is necessary as my parking spot at work has an incline and leaving it in first helps me not to roll.

I don't know about the right side since the plastic isn't formed to hold an accessory item. The left has the flat spot and some reinforcement to support the aux power port and it makes a good place to mount the relocation kit.

A suggestion: my driveway is rather steep so I simply put the sidestand down while in gear to kill the engine. With the engine stopped, I can release the clutch while still in gear and reach down to turn the key off. Serves another purpose to ensure that the sidestand is down before stepping off (don't ask why that is important).

I know what your saying. I had the same problem when I moved it to the left rear. I relocated it to the right front plastic panel in front of the tank.
