Ignition key relocation

I am looking at relocation my ignition on my roadster
But first I want to try to get the later model 8 pin connector so I can make up looms - not just for me but for others too. I can also make the bracket and maybe put a kit together.
As Rivco no longer produces/sells them.

But I need to find where to get these plugs - male and female.

Jaydee autocables might have something like that have used them work & they have a good range of connectors.

Have sourced the plugs and wire. Also made up a loom and done the relocation. Will post photos etc soon

So easy an uneducated Coonass like me did it.

Well I made a cable up - Works a treat.
Removing the Ign Barrel was a complete PITA, I did as Albertaduke had mentioned - Removing the top section of the triple tree.
This gave me access to install an accessory socket in place of the Ign Barrel.

The wires are crimped AND soldered.... The rubber water grommets don't go all the way in because it is a fairly crowded plug
