If there was 2 things you could add or change on the Rocket 3 what would they be?

Pete... the spline is inside the female coupling. To get grease inside that coupling, onto the spline teeth, nipple(s) would need to be fitted into the coupling.

But that coupling runs very close to the inner walls of the swingarm tube..... no room for nipples between it, and the tube.

And I dunno whether I'd fancy putting a 12mm hole in my swingarm tube...... dunno...?????

Anyways.... if ya wheel's off for a tyre, it's prolly only an extra 15 min job to pull the diff and grease the splines while you're there....

Well that that idea is out, it is no problem to grease the splines at tyre change time I know and good quality grease does stay on the splines ,it was just an idea to have a little reassurance that all was lubricated in this highly stressed unit,
Do I get another go!
I have more ideas than a randy Rat

A sixth gear would be nice. But for us the main thing is to reduce the buzz in the bars and pegs.

We trudge on.

Considering the pegs are on rails bolted directly to the engine I thought the amount of vibration was fairly minimal . I don't seem to get any in the bars with the highway hawks I'm using and I'm not using weights either. But I know a lot of r3 riders share your opinion on this

Lots of good ideas here. I would just like to have an engine coolant temp. gauge. You can see a problem developing with a temp gauge instead of just finding out that it is already overheated with an idiot light.
Commonly known as "your engine is ***d" light.

That saying came about when we had the GM Holdens (Cars) in the 60's-70's, usually when that light came on it was too late.....
