I got the idea to mount a VRod fender from the RAT forum. I custom designed the brackets to interface with the Rocket fork tubes. Turned out great. Not an inexpensive deal but better than buying a new stock fender since a lot of Harley parts on ebay.

Mine has the vrod fender with the chrome bracket from j&p.

The bike does catch some spray while riding in the rain.
