Does anyone know the temp. of a new bevel box with 600 miles 0n it....after 60 mph...for 10 miles? mine run 149 +...at ambient temp. of 53 degrees...any help would be appreciated...

I don't know the answer to your specific question, but I do know 149 degrees is not considered hot at all. Our 18 wheel trucks have rear end temperature gauges and the manufactures say up to 230/250 degrees is safe with the synthetic oils.

Hello Jeff and welcome from a displaced Texan in Virginia. I feel you have no problem with that gear box brother. Just try to keep the front wheel from heating up by keeping it off the ground as much as possible...
