How to remove the headlight housings?

I need to remove the headlight housings, but the connector inside is too big to go through the hole in the housing, so I'm guessing the entire wiring harness that has that connector on it has to be removed with the housing, is that correct? Where is the plug on the other end of this harness?

What are you up to Gramps. Not turning her into a cafe racer are you ie dropped bars and a single 7" headlight?

Each headlight has its own sub loom, which connects into the main loom just inside the right front infill cover on the side of the headstock.
A little square profile black connector. About 1/2" x 1/2"".
4 wires in it, one earth which splits off into 2 further down (one for each bulb), and a live wire for parking bulb, main low and main high.
Just pop off the bearclaw and seat, prop up the tank, remove the front right infill cover and you'll be able to disconnect them.

Then you can pull the sublooms out through the headlight cases

Just remember their routes; you don't want to stress them when steering etc after they go back in
