How to check for leaks?

So i did manage to check the bike using the incense method.. seems to be a good joint for now. Also this was the first time i rode the bike after installing the Jardines, what a change!!

I'm still running the under the seat OEM filter, using the tuneboy for the Jars. Seems to be working well so far, lots of power and great sound.

There was some popping on deceleration, tried fixing through the A/F tables in tuneboy and that certainly helped. Still some popping around the 1000-1500 rpm range, but greatly reduced from before. Probably need to experiment a bit more in that rpm range.

I don't want to switch to the triple k&n's for now.. would the under the seat K&N be any better than the OEM filter?

Cheers!

Theres the under the tank K&N option too. attaches to the snorkle bit & shortens the airduct track a bit. Underseat K&N apparently is worth 1 yes1 HP.. so really its the convenience of a reusable filter is all.

Personally I'm not so sure about undertank filter, bit squashed in all that engine heat, need cold dense air for power, never seen back to back dyno to prove it works or not.

Hmm.. thanks guys, so it sounds like im better off with the OEM filter for now at least then(till the time comes to replace this). I would have gone for the triple K&N's but want to sort out the issue Gary(G-man) mentioned about the variable air flow we get with those.

Anyhow, this is really exciting bit for now and being a bass addict i love how deep these babies growl
