I use them on both bikes. More for heat protection but they keep you dry too.
It is a "One Size fits all" deal. And they have to be "persuaded" onto the R3 dual seat.
The material is coarse - You WILL get honeycomb-bum if you ride in light pants or a kilt.

Not yet and it's been on a couple of years. I adjusted the seat padding early this year and the only sign of use was a honeycomb dust/dirt grid - wiped of no scuffing.
