KEY FACTS
- This Triumph Rocket III TFC is a unique and beautifully finished custom bike, modified and enhanced by renowned specialist Thornton Hundred.
- The Rocket III is the largest-displacement production motorcycle in the world, with a 180bhp / 166lb-ft 2.5-litre three-cylinder motor, coupled to a six-speed transmission.
- This bike is number 273 of just 750 TFC models produced, and is the only Rocket III that has been customised by Thornton Hundred.
- It has been in single ownership from new.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
- In TFC guise, the Rocket III engine was made even more powerful and responsive through lightening the internals, incorporating titanium valves, and with a higher redline.
- As standard, it was equipped with electronic rider aids including lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, four riding modes, plus a quickshifter and autoblipper.
- The Thornton Hundred modifications include a bespoke CAD designed subframe machined from billet aluminium, with a built-in tail light, brake light and indicator combination. This is matched to a carbon seat base with custom foam pad and a diamond-stitched Alcantara cover.
- There is a custom Ohlins shock absorber integrated via a bespoke billet CNC machined titanium suspension rocker and linkage, plus a custom CNC machined billet side mount for the number plate, which is illuminated for MOT test compliance.
- This TFC now has single-sided spoke wheels with 9mm stainless spokes, with CNC machined rims and hubs, tubeless at the front and rear.
- There are CNC machined aluminium front mudguard mounts with a handmade front mudguard fabricated using an English wheel.
- Other additions include custom CAD designed footpegs, with the side stand and foot controls all CNC machined from billet aluminium.
- Finally, there is a custom wiring loom to accommodate all the factory functions of the TFC model, including ABS/traction control and Triumph Shift Assist.
- Accompanying the bike is a leather TFC bag, document wallet, factory TFC certificate, and handbook with original build photos from Triumph.
CONDITION
- There is no damage to the frame or bodywork.
- The bike remains in as-new condition, having covered only 29 miles, with no wear or damage to the exterior trims or mechanical elements.
- There are no faults, and no warning lights present.
- The first annual MOT test is due by 2 February 2023.
