Hoses

funnily I saw some on E-bay some time ago before Hervey Bay and nearly bought some but thought if I fit them....... Ponters, Mitch and TC will give me grief and then I ended up blowing one of the front hoses at phillip island and in a knee jerk reaction ordered a full set of OEM black hoses so now I'll have to use them but when I order the silicon hoses I might just order some bright Yellow ones

Yeah, got it sorted. Pretty straight forward and I reckon I could manage it next time but wouldn't have wanted to do it blind and solo that's for sure. Can't thank Hanso enough. Have a sneaking suspicion that there may have been some shonky work done previously. Won't say just yet but I'll be watching closely. Anyway, hopefully it's good and done now.

Interestingly, I lived next to a Launceston family once and none of them had 2 heads. Son came home one day, though, and said he was going to marry the girl next door. The mother was thrilled but the father was worried. "She's a virgin, isn't she? Well if she ain't good enough for her family she ain't good enough for ours."

actually we work well together He held the sh!t out of the way and helped the clean n prep a we shared the some of the spannerwork then He Fed me and gave me a dose of caffeine then it was time to head home 150km each way makes for a good excuse for a ride not mention he makes a mean ham cheese a pickle roll and I got to play with spanners What more can ask for on a day Off

The Tasmanian are not alone with the second head theory, Maryborough Queensland, said to a pain in the arse at a local pub. I couldn't help it and asked him was his brother was his father. Regretted saying it and thought here it comes just got yourself into a blue. The bloke started laughing, snorting like a pig, and says why would you think that, left a full Bundy on the bar and went home.
 
I ended up ordering a set of Red Silicon Hoses so if any body needs a hose when they come here in september I have a spare (the black OEM ones) for them got the recomended clamps too, now I just got to make time to fit them probally wait a couple of months and do it when I give her major winter service.
but I still think I probally should have got the Yellow ones
 
When too much red is not enough!
In any case, the red will look better if/when you do the bike in yellow.
 


I bought the flames version. Came in today. They look bit**in'.
 
Nightmare fitting the clips to the short hose against the engine , the Samco hoses are a bit thicker and the clips fit in small recceses in the engine cover . Tight to say the least !
I would say tho , a smear of sex lube around the hose ends makes em slip on so much easier . I have the blue hoses , they look trick against the black engine !
