I will clean them up and take some picures for you and if you don't like them I will always take them back. They do allow a good view at low speeds and yes I use the mirrors at high speeds.
The avatar has to do with the amount of post one makes watch yours it will change the more you post. My avatar does however matches my bike but its an 06 Classic bagger. One of the Fastest Baggers on the planet
This does not compare, but I turboed my 2005 SE V-ROD. Sold it two and half years ago, very very fun to ride.
Wonder what would a 230 HP or 280HP Carpender race engine with a supper charger/tubo turn out???? Might have to find a 20 inch plus tire for the rear with drag bars.
If you ever want to sell your exhaust let me know, realy like that.
I em'd travalguy two times but no response.
When I get ahold of my Rocket here soon, I will swap them out with you.
I have not run her over 14 psi yet I have a head and Cams at Carpenter Racing at this time I will let you know I also bought a set of Carrillo Forged H - Beam rods and a custom set of J&E Blower Pistons for her. She should spool up pretty good when I get done.
Byron, if I am reading them right they are 3231 Hypereutectic which have a higher silicon base to them something like 16-19%silicone. I burnt my first set up and then took another set I had in a extra motor and had them ceramic coated and a dry film lubricant impregnated on the skirts. They have held up pretty good but I am building her to spin Higher rpms this time. Sense we can't get different rear end gears made nor change the tranny gearing the only way to get higher speeds is to spin the motor up higher. The stock rods are forged and are great and I have seen them spin 8500 rpms but not for long durations and not enough times to trust them. So I figure the Carrillo rods are lighter and might help the motor spin up quicker which will increase the HP climb rate on demand easier. But then I am know engineer I am just playing. The cobination I chose will reduce the rotational weight by about 95 grams. I figure with the lower compression pistons and the ability to spin boost up qicker might help me in the longevity area. I want a beast that is still cruisable and yet can torque up quick. Like I said I am just experimenting and am not by any means a expert just enjoying my bagger
Well that makes at least four Rockets in this little Burg, pretty good stats I would say. Feel free to store that Roadster in my garage. Make sure you leave the key and a full tank of gas. Enjoy the new ride and I am looking forward to seeing it.
