Hey all...long term Harley rider/wrench joining the R3 owners club

Hello Again Hobo and welcome to this site. You will find a difference between the two sites but a lot of good info on both. Don't be shy and let's get the beast out on the road brother.

Welcome aboard
Well done. A lovely looking bike. You'll enjoy that first ride like nothing you'll imagine. A real purrycat with very sharp claws, so be gentle with her while you get to know each other.

Hey all! Long-term rider and wrench of many Shovels/Pans/Evos/Twincams and even *** bikes, boxers, and bricks. Never had a trump, but stumbled across an 08 locally that seems to be my style. Looking forward to learning a lot about her from the forum as I go.

Haven't picked her up yet, but here she is...
Welcome from York Pennsylvania. She even has the 140 c.i. emblem. OH YEAH...she's been TWEAKED.

Welcome from Australia. The previous owner has has swapped the pegrails, mastercylinder, gear leaver, linkages and footpegs with a 2010 or newer Roadster. About 4 inch's further back and 2 inch's lower than the original 2008.

Thanks Bruce! I noticed that too, but I honestly wish the stockers were on there instead. I go 6'+, and would enjoy the extra leg room (besides, I'm used to all my Harley FLHs and still continue to ride an old '77 Shovel). I'm scouring FleaBay right now to see if I can score some originals or a floorboard conversion...

Ha! I've lived on a few different Harley/Shovelhead forums over the years and thought there might be some overlap in R3 members between the different forums I found. Lookin' forward to picking this girl up and getting to know each other...
