H..E..L..P…. MY STOCK 2008 R3T, 17000 miles. 4000 miles ago while hot, I've had a miss only at steady cruising speeds, causing a stall twice, (started back up after 5 minutes). Seems almost like 1 cylinder is missing when hot while maintaining a steady cruising speed, or when backing off the throttle while cruising she will seem to miss and start bucking and jerking. Over 65-70mph is fine.Upon accelerating there are no issues, she goes…. Does not happen every ride. My mechanic is not Triumph guy but did the following;
Replaced the fuel filter and clamps, checked the fuel pump pressure at 42lbs, checked plugs/wires, and did a cleaning on the injectors and road tested it 40 miles. The problem was occurring when I brought it in to him, but was running fine for me for about 2 tanks of fuel. In neutral, if I throttle it up a bit and hold it, she will NOT hold constant steady RPMs, but go up and down as if there was a bad wire or plug. Acceleration is fine. Any help would be appreciated. PS I went looking to trade it in for another bike, but there is nothing out there like this! I can’t see myself riding anything but my R3T!

The fault could be one of many things....

My first suggestion is to get TuneECU loaded onto your PC,, Get a OBDII data cable and check a few things like Throttle body balace..TPS setting and a few other diagnostics.
If you feel you can do this.. otherwise you are stuck with paying the dealer until they fix it.

Also I would look at replacing the Plugs with new Iridium, correct heat range for your model, plugs do break down under heat and load conditions and its pretty hot where they sit.

I would also be under the Tank and pulling multi plugs .. cleaning and re greasing connections, one last thing is the ignition switch it may be a loose or dirty connection in the Ignition circuit..

Just my thoughts.. someone else may be able to pinpoint better..

Had the same issue and took to dealer several times, they finally replaced the TPS and has corrected the issue so far. i have only gone about 300 miles since they replaced it but the cruising speed does not stall any longer. They would adjust the TPS and after about 50 miles it would get misadjusted again until they replaced it.

good luck

Still in the shop!

Last Saturday, 8/18, I drove her to the Triumph dealer to be put on the computer. It started
missing again on the way there, about 13 miles from my house. He said he made some adjustments and to try it out. A deal at $52.00 with tax and a $10.00 tip. Well......that lasted about 3 minutes from the Dealer on my way home. Turned right around and droped it off. It was really acting up bad as it sometimes does, not to blame the Dealer. Was reading up on the Victory Boardwalk. PS the Triumph Dealer is next door to Harley Dealer.
Is there a message being sent here??? Will advise.

This sounds very similar to a problem I had on my '07 Standard. In my case the wire connectors between the spark plugs and injectors were loose. Disconnect them and carefully crimp one side to make a tighter connection.
