hanso your not alone
If a couple or more have PC5 fitted to 04/05 and EWS is telling us his is working fine then you must be able to connect the harness plugs....
 
there is no question it works, I installed it out of the box with no additional adapters whatsoever. It is true that all harness/ecu plugs with the PCV and autotune are simple plug n play. I am not a power commander salesman just a satisfied consumer that is trying to reassure others they can also have a positive experience.
make sure you are ordering the power commander part #21-003 and autotune part # 1020-0923 AT-200.
 
also you must have access to a windows based computer as I operate from a mac which is apple based software and even though i use some conversion software to run windows programs I had to resurrect my old laptop to operate the power commander software which is windows based.

Can I ask where you mounted the modules?
 

Thanks for that Eric, I have both XP (on my 10 inch Laptopwhich i also use for TumeECU) and windows 7 on the other, will the PCV software be OK on XP?
Just a question I read on the PC web page that you could via switch run two maps ie 1 for touring/ economy and 1 for Power/having fun is this the case or just a waste of time
 
I used windows xp and I'm not sure about windows 7. Yes the dual map is possible but you need to buy a switch that plugs into the autotuner. I did not go that route because I'm not obsessed with 2-4 mpg. Not to mention that inevitably 15 minutes into a mileage/long run I would want to have a 15-20 min spat of craziness and mid-ride I don't like the idea of flipping tune altering switches. Most of the fuel savings comes from one's tendency to or not to flip the launch switch on the right handlebar.
 
Yeah I gotta agree Eric!..... You just never know when a Crazness urge is gonna Hit ya....... what was I thinking.... Sorry guys sometimes I kid myself about being sensible... yeah right!!!
