I am shortly going to add to it the installation part to it as long as you can solder and use a few basic tools you should be able to do it or get a friend to that can I have tried to make it as simple as possible so even a novice can hopefully do it
+1 on all the above..but you need to take care of the battery, I like you have no mechanical skills so if the bike doesn't start I'm pretty much F*cked.
Either put the battery on a tender while it's on the bike when she's parked, or take the battery off and keep it on a tender at home.
The Rocket needs a battery in a good state of charge or she's going nowhere...don't ask how I know this
Just for those that don't know. If you jump start a motorcycle from a car do NOT have the car's engine running. A cars alternator puts out more power than some bikes electrical system can handle. It's battery will have plenty enough CCAs to turn a bike's engine over.
