i've got 200 meters of ice before i get to a gritted road , i could get my busa out if i do 2 mph with my feet down lol but its just not worth the stress .
it's always on the bk of my mind what if .... there so much money to fix if they go over !
i'll prob just let there engines tick over tomorrow for a wee while to charge the battery's up .

Move to Australia mate ... only time you'll encounter snow is when you go way up into the mountains actually looking for the horrible stuff. Ride all year round here ... it's motorcycle heaven welcome from sunny Brisbane.

Welcome Stuart. I was just over in Scotland a couple of months ago and didn't see a R3 anywhere - are there many around? Must saying having just dropped mine on wet grass that ice sounds pretty scary!

there's a few r3's about here , i'm to set in my ways to move lol
i don't think a day has gone by this yr when i never had to put my thermals on to go out on my bike .
sorry to hear you dropped your bike aivmid , no matter how strong you are i think if the r3 starts to go over theres not going to be much chance in stopping it .
my busa feels like a moped after driving the rocket
i find it a struggle to push my r3 out of my hut & its only just of the level

I've got family up near Dunoon, one's been riding HDS's for 20 years and just sold his bike because he was sick of getting wet. If its ever sunny over there that area up near Oban and the islands would be a great ride. I'm just unlucky, every time I've been to scotland its rained every day.
