Hello, my name is Sean and I live in Houston, Texas

Another Welcome from Auss, just respect her till you get used to her and you will be fine

Welcome! Woah, that's one hell of a way to make your entrance into the street bike world. There is a lot of advice that could be given here, but one thing I do want to point out is - these things are heavy, even coming from a 500 pound cruiser, the Rocket took getting used to. Never park downhill, make sure the kick-stand goes on solid ground and be careful when turning at low speeds (if you suddenly have to stop while leaning into the driveway because someone comes out of it, it takes a bit of effort to straighten the bike back up). Get the engine guards (you'll need a place to mount the highway pegs anyways) and if you don't know this already - get someone to show you how to lift bikes up (butt into seat, grab the grip and the shock, lift with knees). Good luck! These things are a blast.
Ditto on everything especially the engine guards.
