I am hoping someone can assist me here.
I have an R3T, 2017, and purchased a Healtech GIpro ATRE G2, gear position indicator, the GPAT-TO2 version which, according to the Healtech website is the correct model for all year versions of the R3T.
Installation should be fairly simple.
However the electrical connectors on the GPAT-T02 have 3 wires in line, and unfortunately, they do not match the connectors on my bike.
Tracing the wiring from the physical gear position sensor, on the left hand rear of the engine, to the connector behind the left hand plastic cover with the 2 Torq screws, leads me to a square 4 wire connector. This does have a black/pink wire on the bike side and when disconnected does prevent the green neutral light illuminating on the dash, all as per the Healtech installation instructions, so I am pretty sure this is the correct connector on the bike and I cannot find any other connector on the bike that matches the 3 wire connector that came with the Healtech unit.
Am I missing something here or is it possible that the last batch of R3T'S may have different connectors to the earlier ones.
Healtech have GPAT- T01 and GPAT-TO3 versions that are recommended for other rocket version, ie the original Rockets and the Roadster. Does anyone know if these HeaLtech units have square 4 wire connectors.
The Australian distributor that I purchased the unit from is adamant that they supplied the correct unit for my bike, and I agree they did supply the GPAT-TO2, I am just trying to work out the cause and solution to my specific problem problem.
Can any T3T owners out there who have successfully installed a Healtech GIpro ATRE G2 provide any guidance or suggestions ?
Thanks
