Just now, I was informed that I am required to be in trial May 16th - 18th.

I royally chewed out the attorney for his knowing the court date long time and this unnecessary short notification with no subpoena.
However, tis a very large case I have done much work on and his firm are large, long-time customers of mine.
I am SOOOOOOOOOO pissed & disappointed!

There's an old method of gathering funds that I used at a church one time. You pass the plate and count the money, if it is not enough you keep passing it until you have enough money.
Another way is to tell any cheap azz that is under the tent in a chair to get the F*** up and out till he coughs up the cash.

I'm not worried about getting stuck. It's easier for everyone to pay me then for them to have to feed me. Cheaper too.
