Had my front metzler tyre replaced just over a year ago with an avon cobra chrome, i cant say i noticed with the metzler but ever since ive had a slight wobble when leaning left or right. I put up with it for a while then had the wheel rebalanced and also stripped the forks and replaced seals and oil, as i had a leaking seal and thought that could be it.

It didn't

Has anyone had anything similar or any ideas? Bearings seem ok.

Thanks in advance

Just read a post from Fozzie, faulty front tyre or rear wheel bearings are the likely culprits.

(Apologies, i can't see how to delete my post now i know the answer )

It is common letting off at about 45-55 without hands on bars it will go into a tank slaper just keep your hands or at least one hand on the bars.
never hear about going left or right.
metzs will make a noise when the side gets worn sounds like a bad bearing.

let the post run you may get some more posts helping you out
make sure that front tire is seated correct all the way around on both sides.

I had similar experience with my ‘05 V2K, turned out to be front tire was cupped
Im thinking tyre too, i dont recall it when i had the metzler on. I think ill get a new front tyre and wheel bearings, if that doesnt fix it ill look at the rear wheel bearings.
