now, inlet valves, these look a bit coked up. anyone seen valves like this?

Oh, don't you worry. Bob Carpenter will make those as right as rain. From what I saw last Thursday; he's done some marvelous stuff with trashed portions of heads (which yours are not).

yeah luckily those valves are redundant.. when are you expecting your bike back?

He told me that he'd have my bike for 3-4 weeks. However, if your sending him a head; maybe it should be quicker; since disassembling a Rocket motor (drive in - drive out turn key package) is not involved.

he had A LOT of Rocket 3 heads in his shop. I was VERY surprised... and impressed.
