Greetings fellas... update. The touring is out. I have a '16 Roadster. I must say, I haven't been riding long (1st ride was this past summer
). I started on my girls V Rod. I prefer performance. I realized I had to have a bike that could beat her but it had to be man size
I found the Rocket online @ a Harley dealer searching for a winner and fell in love at 1st sight. I've never been into motorcycles nor the bike scene. From my light experience this bike is wwaaaaayy better than the harley in most every way.
After riding literally 3 times before, I flew to Jackson, MS and bought my bike. The ex owner told me to ride it home if I could. I don't know what made me more nervous the plane trip to Jackson or knowing I had a 600 mile 3 state trip to make it back to my house
I ate dinner and set my throttlemeister on 90mph and rode! I only slowed down for traffic, curves and gas. Obviously, I have way less fear than i should or was just plain ignorant. After being on the scene and talking to seasoned riders, I found what I had done rarely ever happens. People make a really big deal out of it lol. I got instant acceptance as rider.
