Got Rear Ended Again

Okay before all you Aussies start breathing heavy I am talking about my van, for the second time in six months I have been rear ended(not a good choice of words) driving along SR85 by Eglin Air Force Base doing about 45mph when wham this lady in a wee chevy car smacked the right rear of my van and spun me 540degrees, poor lady was pretty banged up my head took a whack but what the hell it is empty anyway.
She said she did not see my Chevy 2500 extended express van WTF, they took her away to the hospital and once the cop was finished with me he was heading over to the hospital to charge her.
Just glad I was not on my bike we have had enough bad/sad news this weekend to do us a while.

Happy to hear the van is banged up. much better post than i assumed from the thread title! Glad nothing made it into your empty head;)

I drive a fire engine for a living and am amazed at how many people don't see or hear big red coming, sometimes I swear I must be invisible! When I ride my bike, I just assume that nobody see's me!

do you know why women twist their hair at stop signs?

because they don't have balls to play with!

I used to be a firefighter and I agree with you100% .even with lights and sirens going I always made a habit of stopping at red lights and then drive of slowly . You'd be surprised how many situations would have occured had i not driven like that .on occasions I had to drive the rapid response vechile .for a truck with a 500litre water tank it use to reach speeds upwards of 85 mph . Often when responding to an incidient it was obvious people had there music bearing and hardly ever used there rear vision mirrors:eek:
