While cruising down the road, very intermittently, I have a little hic up. Just a brief gasp, but starting to get more of them. I just hit 50,000 miles on a 2008 touring. I am wondering if it might be the fuel filter. Any other ideas??
I'm thinking of waiting to take the tank apart.winter is almost here.
More likely the low tension leads on the coils need to be cleaned and re-crimped so the connections are tight. A bit of dielectric grease on them helps keep them from corroding.

Coincidentally I have just developed the same issue - I know it "should not be" the fuel filter since I replaced it a year ago. Ima look at the L/T leads & if it's not that, I hope I just got a bad tank of gas
Fred, which ones are the low tension leads?
