Go Wolverines! .. wait, what is the Melbourne Cup? If its anything like the Stanley Cup I hope everyone brought a scarf because that ice is probably cold. But if its like the Ryder Cup, then keep it in the fairway because that rough is a killer. If its like a 7-eleven cup then it is ridiculous because no one needs to drink 72 ounces of coke in one setting.. I mean are you trying to be a diabetic, ... what were we talking about? Oh yeah, what is the Melbourne Cup? From Oklahoma, not very cultured around here... or overly educated.

I work for the Salvation Army ( if there's a more anti-gambling outfit on the planet i've yet to hear of it) ... this morning i snuck into the meeting room and wrote up on the whiteboard . that's a bugger!! that it I ain't ever giving to the Salvos Again! Just Kidding they are probally the best charity out there and I sort understand thier stance on gambling after the wrecked families they have to help out due to gamblers doing all thier income and not being able to feed their Kids but you know that I am sure, just a damm shame they wouldn't let you have your Sweeps

I would have thought a sweep was more like a raffle than actual gambling. Agree the Salvos are wonderful but sounds a bit like someone should lighten up - altho I completely understand the concern. No such problem at Joe's. At around 2.00 someone suggested we should do a sweep or two and that was the last I heard about it!
