Many years ago I used to watch and enjoy Bathurst, all makes and models of cars used to compete. Then the Mazdas, Nissans and other manufacturers were whooping the local cars so they started making changes to the rules to stop numerous cars competing. Basically just leaving Holden or Ford. Gee, wonder who will win, one or the other. Me and a lot of my friends don't follow any more due to this.

The aussies and Kiwis will get this!!
So will Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe fans. I've still got a soft spot for a Ford Prefect

or Ford Zephyr 6cyl like a lot of Kiwis too.
As a kid we only had the humdrum 1959 Ford Consul 4cyl.
At college a few of us pooled our cash and had a Mk11 Cortina.

Was even better in the days of 'Production' racing. Now the only thing Holden or Ford is the body shell.
