Getting back on the bike

Hey Mate

I’m in Melbourne...feel free to connect. If you need a place to sleep over, you’ll be welcome.

Thanks for the reply.
The Hepco & Becker look a bit old school to me compared to the SHAD

I spoke to the shad distributor here and I can go have a look at them and see
what there brackets are like.

cheers
Rob

Hey RobWhi....let me know if you come through Melbourne.....great to meet another Rocket Captain over a beer or a coffee .....cheers

Sorry to hear about your misfortune and I'm glad you reached out for help.
It seems like it is helping and taking a trip can get you out of your head.
Stay in the present!

Sorry to read of the troubles you have endured but you know, i believe you will conquer all this. To me you have already made inroads by sharing and creating plans going forward..that is huge!
The GOR trip is awesome...even tho i'm a kiwi, i did this trip many years ago in a wee car and in no particular hurry. We stopped and soaked in the beauty quite alot...it's good for the soul!...on a bike it will be breathtaking i'm sure!!
Good on you!!.....onwards and upwards!!....

Yup - I know.
According to SHAD - No brackets for the R3 - any of them. There were not before either.

H&B do at least make a frame. And those cases have proven they work and stay on.

I did try using the SHAD with some QD adapters from SW-Motech. I was NOT impressed.

Tbh, if I were to re-investigate luggage options I would want cases that load from the top. If they're QD naturally you can do this with the cases removed from the bike.
I would rather bolt them on fixed.

Thanks I will have a look.

Getting on the bike anytime makes a good day. I to suffered a PTSD event long ago (even before we had the acronym ) and thanks to Jesus, a truly loving Wife, Motorcycles and Prozac, life is good.

BTW: I can have all the Motorcycles I want. Currently have 5. Can only have one Wife.
