Leaving Thursday morning for a little weekend trip. The end of the line is going to be Savanah Illinois! Hope I packed enough GOLD BOND! Its friggin HOT HOT HOT! Anyone else gonna be in the area....P.M. me. We can grab a brew and share some harley whompping stories!
 
Take a spray bottle of water and spritz your shirt until it's almost wet (overly moist). Put your mesh jacket over that to restrict evaporation rates and you'll be riding in comfort between gas stops. Just re-sprtiz your shirt at every gas stop. You'll be amazed at how many hours in really hot weather you can ride like it's 75 instead of 105.

I agree with Atomsplitter - keep your shirt wet and under a mesh jacket. I'm leaving two weeks for today for Sturgis, SD, on a 5,000 mile trip. Planning on keeping the shirt moist, as it is hot here!
