gas gage light

Be very careful..What color is your bike? That red paint scratches real easy... Besides, if your Rocket is red, your gas light is probally workin nornal, they build the red ones that way. It's a default mechanism..xhdskip

All I can tell you is what I did. Yes that hyperlink owl posted was a big help, and helped me get over the jitters of removing the tank and tearing it apart from the bottom up. Pay paticuliar attention to that float, if you decide to go this route. Since I didn't have the "proper" tools to get it just right, I just bent the little arm down about 1/4 inch. Thats a guess now, it could have been 3/8's. Anyway my light now comes on at 147 miles with mostly town rideing, and 151 miles mostly hiway rideing. So I figure that gives me about 50 mile reserve. I can live with that.. my 2 cents. xhdskip
