I'm looking for recommendations on a free standing front wheel chock. Price does matter.

I got the heavy duty black freestanding chock from Harbor Freight with a coupon for only $40. Look through some cycle mags and they may have a coupon. It works great but it needs something to anchor to or it may slide. At least it does in my smooth concrete garage. I bolted it to a sheet of plywood so that the weight of my bike holds it in place.

Is it the one made by haul master? reg. $49.99 If it is it looked too small in the photo.
I talked to a co-worker about having one made out of square tubing. Not sure of the price.
Just drill holes in the concrete and drop some threads in.

tdragger,
Thank you. I like that one so much I keep coming back to the photo. Guess its the one for me. Next, I need to order the paddock stand from Flip.

If Flip would just modify rear wheels for mounting 19" tires I would be set.

Thanks, tdragger. I ordered the chock today.

RatBoy, thank you for the suggestions.

fyi, both of my Feb issues of Rider and Cycle World include a Harbor Freight ad with a coupon for the wheel chock above. The coupon allows you to buy the chock for $39.99.
