front tire sidewall crack

I wouldn't even consider riding on a tyre looking like that. As others have said, is probably old. I would take it back and shout at people.

Only 1500 miles in over a year!? You'll be ditching tyres long before they're worn out in any case. That one's rubbish for sure, especially as it doesn't look like you've given it much of a workout.

Having had bad experience with two Shinkos delaminating after having been pushed a bit, the first I accepted to be a faulty tyre but after second did it as well I swore of them even thou they were a good performing tyre, their quality control seems lacking, try the Avon or as I am currently running the Dunlop Elite3 both good tyres

I run a Dunlop front too. Get rid of that tire, let us know what the dealer does.

checked up the manufactured date,it was manufactured 27th week of 2012.This will be the last Shinko's I will put on my motorcycles
