Front Tire brand and personal ratings

Yeah i havent voted because ive only ever had metz on front so i cant really give an opinion on whats best

I bit the bullet and voted for my current Bridgestone but probabloy should have waited until I was certain it's better than the Avons I've been using. My experience with Avon was always the same as yours Nolton. An excellent (front) tyre.

I put just over 2300 miles on that Avon in the past 6 days.

I am currently running a stellar combination of the B'stone Exedra Max rear and this awesome Michelin meat: Michelin Motorcycle Tires

Because I have a set of 12" Progressive 440s on the rear, the Bridgestone restored me to stock geometry and the 140 up front lowers the beast a bit and consequently lightens up the steering... big time! My baby rides much more effortlessly and she feels about 150 pounds lighter than without that chunky 150 up front. The front tire is much better looking thatn the OEM size, as well.

So far I have about 4500 miles on the Bridgestone and about half thgat on the Commander II. I am expecting to get 10-12K miles on the rear, maybe more, and about 15,000 mile on the Michelin... not bad for $300 + installation.

Just a shame Michelin don't make the rear in our size I would have one on in a flash. Allways found Michelins to be the best for wear versis grip on all the Sports bikes and allso on the SportsTourers. about 18 mths ago I was talikng to Michelin Auss and they said they were looking into larger sizes but alas nothing yet but might have to give the 140 front a try

Just bought a new front tire shinko se890 for 110 us from chaparral motors , have a metz with 4400 miles on it And felt like is going to die in any moment

WoW ya slippin mate .. I wondered how long before you would say something. Look I had good milage with the avons the front is still legal well over 13000 ks now and I like the BS tyre so I checked.. and it let me bullet not 1 but 2 points sooooo guess what I did
