Will the front fender come off without pulling the wheel, [my old Harley wouldn't] ?

I want to ad a short mudflap on the front fender and it would be better to install the mudflap with the fender off.

You can, its easier to do it without the wheel on, cause you can drop it straigth down.

But I renistalled mine with the wheel still on.. just be careful to not scratch it, may want to tape the fork legs or fender as a caution

And I totally stole the Look from Miami Dave, who had his off for a bit.

Honestly it just looks mean as all get out with it off.

has anyone else had problems with front fender bolts coming out? I am on my second set. Lost first set on left side, then re-installed with locktite, last about 1 month, lost same set last night after riding all day.

Any ideas? Can someone show me what their rocket with no front fender looks like?

I bought my first Triumph (a 1967 T120) in 1970. A friend of mine talked me into removing the front fender because that was the "cool thing" to do. Well, 2 days later I hit a fresh pile of dog crap. Front fender got replaced immediately!!! (Keep in mind that in 1970, California didn't have a helmet law!!)

Dog crap? Where the hell were you riding? I still have my '67 TR6C and pull the fender off during the summer, well summer of 07, the last time I rode the old girl. And yes it still looks cool. Now that I know the full scope of hazards, I'll be extra mindful of what I run over. :D

Set your wrench at 27Nm for the 4 bolts Tim.
PS: Make sure the threads are degreased!

I always put a blanket on the floor between the front wheel & radiator or risk chipping the paint at the bottom edge of the mudguard
