I need something to take away some of the wind blast on my chest while riding at highway speeds. I was hoping the Triumph fly screen might work. I like the looks of the Fly screen better than the summer and touring screen’s. Any comments from people that have the fly screen would help me make my decision.
I also think the summer screen is okay if I could get some comments on that as well.
The fly screen works great for me. It does exactly what you're asking, and it looks good doing it. It blocks the wind off your chest so you don't feel like you're a parachute, yet your still riding a 'naked' bike. I've had mine for a few years now and it's all I use. I wear an HJC Symax flip-up helmet as my windscreen..
I've tried the Roadster screen, even with lowers, but they're just not for me.
Standard shield in the winter and flyscreen in the summer. At 6'4" it works for me and a full face helmet. Just enough off the chest and still a comfortable ride.
I use the Flyscreen as it does just what you are looking for. 5' 11" rider here. I also have a Summer screen that goes on only really early in the year as it blocks too much of the wind. For me the fly is just perfect.
Hi Guys, i just got my Rocket iii Been looking Around for a suitable FLY Screen to attach but no idea where to hunt for one anybody out there can help??
I've been using the fly screen for about 13,000 miles, and like it. I wear a shorty with wrap arounds, sometimes the buffeting is a minor issue at triple digits.
I can see where some riders will not like it, but it suits me just fine.
Had a summer screen on my Bonnie, that I got rid of after 2 weeks.
Hi Mitch
I have the fly screen and i wear an open face helmet with wrap arounds..i'm 5ft8ins and it seems to work some.
Bought the bike new and had it put on before delivery..so can't compare.
But i think it looks good too...hope this helps
