Hey guys, thanks for the great welcome to these ROCKET forums!!!

I live in the northern suburbs of Brisbane and bought the bike from Team Moto - got a great deal, too. :)

Seems there are plenty of ROCKET owners in SE Queensland - I actually know a postman whose son rides one - maybe even a member of these forums.

I've only just got the bike, so I plan to practice to really get to know the beast during the break-in period.

Thanks again.

Welcome from Pasco Washington USA. I'm also a new Rocket owner. Have had 2011 R3R for a month. Power still intimidating. My ridding season about over, high of 34 degrees. Road two days ago at 38 degrees with 20 mph wind gust.

Enjoy your R3 and ride safe.

**** Roger, downright balmy by you. were having an overnight low of 9 deg F, 23 f and windy right now. I could put on the carharts and work boots but I can't keep my hands warm enough and theres too many horror stories about Triumphs heated grips.

Feel bad winning about my (warm) weather.

Born and raise few hundred miles south of your location, in Blooming/Normal Il.
Spent time in Chi Town, coldest wind ever felt coming off Lake Mich.

Next few day weather hear in high 30s and once again will ride. Like you my hands got cold. Next ride will wear mittens, see how that works.

Stay warm!
