2026 Rocket 3 R Storm
And my first bike that’s not a sport or superbike.

This has replaced a Panigale SP2 (still got a SportClassic Monoposto and 2024 V4R for track).

I was intending to get a Speed Triple 1200 RS for more sensible (relatively) road riding but thought I’d try the Rocket 3 for a laugh and ended up buying one - Storm R in black.

I’ve only done the 15km back from the dealer so far and need to get it registered and for the weather to be a bit better (it’s looking good for the weekend). I’ve bought the auxiliary power socket for the left side which I believe allows me to use a charger (let me know if that’s incorrect - the dealer told me that it won’t work but I think it does). I don’t imagine I’ll want to upgrade or change anything, which is a bit unusual for me. The build quality and details seem very good and I like every angle. I’m looking forward to getting to know the bike!

It makes my SportClassic look like a child’s toy…

Welcome from Michigan. The BT moto tune is worth doing once you get used to the bike. Also tune ECU will reset the oil change interval. The aux socket has no problem charging phones but you have to get the usb setup that fits that type of DIN socket (amazon). Also put an O ring under the prongs on the male usb din plug helps keep it connected better. There is a post about it around here. Nothing but fun times on the rocket.
