I put the Rumblers on Friday night, Tdragger hooked me up Sunday with a tune, then had to wait 2 days for Sandy to blow by. Finally today took the Rocket to work today. Holy smokes, these pipes are earth shaking! And the extra horseys! Not that I needed them. ****! So far I am cool with the sound. My dogs will have to get used to hearing me a minute before they see me.
I painted them black first, now the hose clamps stick out like a sore thumb. I am thinking about removing the heat shields except for the ones that are attached with the screw, since the headers are black anyway.
I think the last 2 days are the first time in about 9 years that I drove to work 2 days in a row without snow on the ground. Thanks Sandy...*****.

I'll second that request ...... have considered the Jars but that's a pretty good chunk'a change to be dropping on an unknown. I believe what I'm hearing about the power increases but since I come from the V-Twin world .... I need to hear the sound.

I love the Jars and sound would post vid but the sound does not sound right on play back but I do not have the baffels in lost some tq at top end but not enough to worry about for me if he can get good vid it would be cool

Don/t worry about the sound. Jars sound fantastic!
VERY mean sound and on par with the best V-Twin pipes-and better than 99% of them.

Hi there, I just added a 3 into 1 without heat shields, I found it too hot to ride, was thinking about strapping a bit of water pipe to the peg to get my leg further away,Ha Ha , ended up wrapping the closer 2 pipes with exhaust bandage, all is good now.
Cheers ScratchyDave
