First Bad News for new Rocket: oil leaks

Saw R3 engine still on floor today. Asked dealer what was up ? Said leak in upper casting would be “patched”.
If like the leak around front cylinder bolt on my (new at the time 796 model) Ducati, they wait for materials and instructions From manufacturer

I talked to the service writer at the dealer today and he said one of the new Rockets was leaking oil. He said he heard reports of others leaking too. Apparently there is a pin hole in the engine casting. We’ll see how they fix this one.

It doesn’t matter if it works as long as we build it cheap and charge the most for it!
