Sad News In Eureka Springs

Got to Garfield Arkansas Monday after 4PM and we decided to go out to dinner. We ended up in a BBQ joint in Rogers and while there made plans to eat at the Bavarian Inn in Eureka Springs during our trip. Yesterday when Pat called the Inn to make reservations he found out they were closed and when we rode by later that day saw a "For Sale" sign on the window. Bummer. They had really excellent German/Czech meals back in the day. Sad to see it gone.

That's like so many places everywhere these days.

Here in the UK - "Pubs" are closing everywhere, and because they used to have large car parks they are being snapped up by developers for a dozen or so houses !

There is such sad stability everywhere now.
