Finally they got the part !

I had posted earlier that I had purchased a 2021 Rocket GT silver ice and storm grey. It was delivered to my place and was a few days before I got it out (bad weather). Well on its maiden voyage it made it 11 miles before it showed over heating. That turned out to be a bad heat sensor. To get to the sensor they had to remove the radiator. No one knows how they damaged it but after it was re-installed it leaked. (mechanic error?) It took them one month to get the replacement . It got put in as soon as they received it and I got it in my hands Wednesday. I got to take it out for a nice long ride today and I am very impressed. Of course breaking it in so being easy on it, but it handles beautifully and doesn't act like the weight it is. Even being easy on it acceleration is quick ! I decided I am taking off tomorrow and get it closer to break in mileage.

Mine made it about the same distance on maiden voyage. Temp sensor. No problems after replacement.

Is this temp sensor problem common?
I'm hoping to collect my GT in near future but from the dealer 600 km from home , so would be tricky to take it back.
