Farewell Rocketeers!

Hey... he bought a new bike ... end of story. I realise some here view this as some sorrt of extended family or something other than a website for owners of Rocket 3'S  i don't. Im sure i'd get along with some here because of the common interest we share owning the same make of machine... But to get upset, hurt or question why an individual would choose to no longer participate because he has sold his bike is ..well .... getting a bit weird if you ask me. Just my thoughts.

Vrod????

2012 Vrod performance specs:

Horsepower (bhp)
125
Horsepower RPM
8250
Torque (Ft Lbs)
85
Torque RPM
7000

As TC said why even ask why they leave, looking for a wee bit more personal information than some might like to give.
Anyone that leaves is always welcome back and they know that, the standard reply should be,

Please do not go please rethink, do you have any surplus parts for sale, I am so full of kindness that it hurts.:D

Dave...you always were a lover not a fighter...and always on the lookout for some cheaply priced parts:D.

Well, IMO the V Rod is the best H-D ever made and was on my shortlist when recently moving away from the more traditional Harley range.

The reason I went for the Rocket was because it matched my riding style more than any other bike that I liked the look of. The Rod ran close except for the power delivery characteristics - peak hp and torque at stupidly high rpm.

I have many friends with Rods and they have been very reliable and seem to have really good build quality, almost like made in Japan .
