I'd forgotten just how fast my IC SC R3 is! I jammed out of the farm, slammed 2nd and 3rd at 7000 RPM... FN beathtaking. All was right with the world. :D

Then I glanced down at my left brake mounted front MotoLight... it was covered with traction fluid!!!

G@# D@!$ M%TH*R#@%# S*%$!!! The repair on the SC oil cooler popped again! Just couldn't take the pressure at 7000 R's. This means I'm grounded until TTS builds me a new combo unit.:mad::mad:

After all that waiting for the paint. Bugger!

I know just how you feel mate, I've been without for weeks and can't get mine back until next Thursday, iff the clutch install goes OK this time.

Thanks for the sympathy, Joker! When you see Richard, tell him "HELP!".

Okay....if no one else will ask...i guess it's up to me. What the hell is "traction fluid"? Bigern

Bigern, "Traction Fluid" is what Rotex calls their special (proprietary) oil for the supercharger.

Is it a new leak or the one that you repaired?

wing

Same 2 pinhole leaks. I attempted to repair these, but my repair was a failure... screen acted as heat sink. I then took the unit to a race cooler shop. They repaired the leak, but warned me it would not last. They were right!

Richard of TTS is a Prince among men! He is sending me a bolt-on cooler and oil tank to use until he can fabricate a new combo unit. This means I'll soon be riding again. Thanks, Richard!!! :D:D

Hey Hombre,

I hope they push it through JFK customs pretty quick. That was a few days of my wait.

I have to say that the SC rocket is pretty neat. I like it better than my old Hayabusa.

It has a backrest and my busa didnt.:D
